Sandy was born in Appleton, Wisconsin. He moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1968, where he graduated from the University of Arizona. A long time lover of the outdoors, he carries a camera along with his shotgun. His unusual eye and gift for getting the right shot are the result of many hours spent outdoors. Sandy is married to Connie, who does all the production end of CLM Images.
Sandy
I
love being outdoors. I'm usually found with a camera in my hands. I
enjoy photographing wildlife, very old buildings and landscapes. [I'll
photograph just about anything.] 0r, I'll be found carrying a shotgun
behind Peso, my English Setter. We hunt quail and upland birds
together. Bird hunting takes us from southern Arizona as far north as
Edmonton, Alberta. So does trout fishing. I golf when I can't get out
of town. Sitting around doesn't do it for me. I'd rather be traveling,
seeing "new dirt" and discovering what new areas have to offer. I have
zero interest in cities, and enjoy reading while this old carcass is
recovering from whatever my last activity happened to be. In a
nutshell, I am an inquisitive kid trapped in a body beginning to show
some wear.
I wrote and published a book of my last year's travels. I included
pictures that I took during the trip. The title of the book is "Not All
Who Wander Are Lost". It available for purchase at the following web
